Welcome

Welcome to the MSc Clinical Pharmacy International Practice and Policy (CPIPP) Portfolio .

This Portfolio is where you will keep a record of your Learning at Placement (Module 3) which we refer to as the Placement Portfolio, as well as coursework and other materials/files produced from the other MSc CPIPP modules during the year of study. The contents of the Placement Portfolio and the materials (including mark sheets) from other modules (e.g. critical appraisal from Module 1) make up the Programme Portfolio.

The Programme Portfolio will help to demonstrate your progress in achieving the ability outcomes defined for the MSc CPIPP curriculum. A primary goal of maintaining the portfolio is to enable students evaluate their accomplishments at any point in the curriculum and to determine areas requiring further development.

The Placement Portfolio is an essential aspect of the assessment for Module 3 – Clinical Practice at Placement. You must complete all sections of the Placement Portfolio towards the portfolio review and interview.

It is important that the Placement Portfolio reflects learning in different clinical specialities / disease states; at least 5 different areas. You should refer to the Module 3 Handbook and Placement Portfolio Content Review and Panel Interview Assessment Preparation Guide for Students for further information.

We strongly encourage you to complete your programme portfolio little by little as you progress through the year. This will help you to gradually build up your portfolio over the months rather than delaying it close to stated deadlines.

Please note that the programme tutors will be able to view your files once you make an entry in the portfolio. You do not need to click a ‘Submit’ button. However, be assured that we will not assess your Placement Portfolio files until after the submission deadline.

In summary, the only section of this MSc CPIPP Programme Portfolio that will be assessed as a combined piece of coursework is the section relating to module 3 i.e. the Placement Portfolio. The remaining parts of the portfolio are mostly copies of submitted coursework for modules 1, 2, 4 and 5 with their corresponding mark sheets.
