We’ve got about 12 weeks to the start of the 24/25 academic year. Over the next 12 weeks, we will share One Task, and One Tip to help get your Moodle courses ready for 24/25 academic year. Some might be tasks that you have already completed, and some might be new to you.

Task 1: Include/update staff contact information: It is important to have the contact details of the person responsible for the module clearly displayed. This will ensure students know who to contact in case of any queries.

Tip 1: The Activities block – the Moodle activities block lists the different activities and resources available in your course (Forums, Quizzes, Assignments, Lessons and so forth) and provides quick links to the index page for each activity or resource. It provides an easy way to navigate and view e.g. all the Moodle assignments on your course. See video on adding the Activities block to your Moodle course (approx.40s).
