Moodle is UCL’s centrally supported digital learning environment. As a hub of resources, interactivities, assessment processes and cohort management, a Moodle space is a digital representation of your module.
Lecturecast
UCL’s lecture capture system integrated with Moodle. It allows students to access recordings for interaction, review, and revision
Mentimeter
Mentimeter is polling software that allows you to create interactive online presentations. Visit the Mentimeter Resource centre, which provides training and guidance.
Blackboard Ally
Blackboard Ally is a plugin for Moodle that uses machine algorithms to provides students and staff with alternative file formats for common file types stored within Moodle.
Reading Lists at UCL
Managed by the Library, ReadingLists@UCL is integrated with Moodle and gives students easy access to materials on their reading lists wherever they are, and allows academic staff to create and update their own reading lists.
Turnitin
Turnitin is a plagiarism detection tool which checks students’ work against a large database of sources such as journal articles, websites and other students’ work.

Blogs can be used to support students to:

MyPortfio/Mahara
An e-portfilio system wherein you can create or upload digital artefacts and display them on web pages or e-portfolios that you can share with audiences of your choosing.

An ePortfolio, workbook, and assessment platform.
MS Teams
Some of the features in MS Teams can be used to support teaching
Zoom
Staff and students can create and access UCL Zoom accounts via single sign-on. Zoom has been integrated with Moodle. For help visit using Zoom in Moodle wiki page.

A huge range of video tutorials supporting learning in software, creative and business skills – all free to UCL staff and currently enrolled students.
