During my time with the FA Youth Council, I was part of the volunteering sub-group, where we developed interventions to help clubs increase their volunteer base. Our focus included training individuals to earn FA coaching badges and providing support for administrative roles often filled by parents of players. Additionally, we established a FIFA project at St. George’s Park, delivering workshops to coaches on motivating young people to engage with football. This role allowed me to contribute to grassroots football, enhance my leadership and organizational skills, and promote a more inclusive and sustainable environment for youth participation in the sport.
