English as the Dominant Language: Past, Present, and Future

This podcast explores English as the dominant world language: past, present, and future. It is hosted by one native and one non-native English speaker. The discussion utilizes interviews from three non-native English speakers and their experience with English, and Associate Professor of education and international development, Will Brehm, to help expand our analysis and discussion. This podcast plays with the ever-so-present dominance of English by having some parts of the podcast in Chinese, Tagalog and Malay to help further engage English listeners with the implications of the dominance of English. The podcast is primarily divided into the past, present, and future in order to develop an in-depth discussion to help cultivate an overarching understanding of the dominance of English today.
