I have been working on a systematic review regarding cannabidiol’s effect on blood pressure which informed our human study on cannabidiol supplementation after our ethics approval. Since October 2024, I have been working on an in vitro study regarding the effect of oxidation on TTR amyloidogenesis on the V122I mutation.

For the first two projects, I am working alongside another student with our Principle Investigator Dr Terun Desai (t.desai@ucl.ac.uk) at the Institute of Sport, Exercise, and Health, sponsored by the Faculty of Medical Sciences’ Undergraduate Bursary. The third project is my year 3 dissertation at the National Amyloidosis Centre with my supervisor, Dr Guglielmo Verona (g.verona@ucl.ac.uk).
