What is the principle of this timeline – all these objects exist now – they are contemporaneous om March 2019 – when was the moon rock ‘made/formed’?

Dear OP, thank you for your comment.
The timeline is to help people contextualize the objects. The points we make with each object in relation to the theme transcend time (for instance what is said to be true in the label of the necklace is valid for all pieces of jewellry). This is what we are looking for, as viewers will now be able to look at any body-adornement bearing this in mind, but we also take into account that some visitors like to have fixed points of reference to further anchor the objects in reality, like dates.
NB: the timeline was not formatted like that at all. Unfortunately the layout must have been deformed when we submitted the page, we will fix it asap.
