Wendy Allen Designs
Wendy Allen is an RHS Gold Medal winning garden designer who specialises in designing and building eye-catching rain gardens. Her garden ‘The Rain Chain’ won the Best Sustainable Garden award at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show 2009. Her projects feature in the UK Rain Gardens Guide and Small Green Roofs by Nigel Dunnett, Dusty Gedge, John Little and Ed Snodgrass.
Currently Wendy designs and builds Rainscapes for UK Rivers Trust Action for the River Kennet, involving communities and schools to create rain gardens which have a positive benefit for people, rivers and biodiversity. These projects have recently achieved a Britain in Bloom award and are shortlisted for the Wiltshire Life Conservation Award.
