Seven English Higher Education Institutions have registered to take part in both phases of the project.
Policies have been collected from most of these institutions and phase 1 of the analysis is currently underway.
Nvivo is being used to conduct a thematic analysis of student support and wellbeing policies. Additionally, mapping is being undertaken of the cross-referencing between policy documents and the identification of staff roles explicitly mentioned.
Based on the initial review of student support and wellbeing policies, the 250 most common words (with stem words) across all the policies have been identified.
Analysis will resume after the Easter break.
