ReMAP Manifesto:
We are a community of scholars, activists, and practitioners committed to research that reshapes the disciplinary domains of media, arts, and play. Our work challenges disciplinary hierarchies, reconsidering what might comprise data and research practice, and (post)humanising approaches to media, culture, education, communication, and technology. We foreground interdisciplinary collaboration, aiming to amplify marginal voices, and forge genuine co-creations with the communities and creative industry partners we work alongside. We are united in the belief that these shared activities and critical approaches can open new methodological possibilities; trace new cultural cartographies; and work towards a more ethical, inclusive, and empathetic understanding of research.
