What are Media?
Media can be audio, video, documents, and images to your pages. They can either be uploaded and appear in your media library, or be embedded from an external provider (usually in the case of videos, audio content and large documents) and appear on your pages and posts as long as they do not exceed 50MB. All of your media content will be directly available and visible in your media library, which you can manage easily just like your pages and posts.
Let’s start with the basics!
When building your blog, you will normally use the following functionalities regarding media:
- Audio: upload and embed audio
- Video: upload and embed videos
- Images: upload and align/edit images, manage your image gallery
- Documents: upload and embed documents
- Quizzes and other slides content: upload and embed them
- Align and re-size your media files and documents according to your pages and posts
