Designing Authentic Assessment

Presenter: Richard Osborne (MAPS) & Marieke Guy (Digital Education)

Format: Workshop

This workshop presented the results of a Jisc funded project that finished in 2014, which produced a range of tools and techniques to support the design of authentic assessments. The original introduction to the workshop, which discussed how the tools and techniques were developed and how they were intended to be used, has been recreated for an async audience below:

After this introduction attendees were given copies of the Designing Authentic Assessment – guide and blank worksheets that are discussed in the video and had the opportunity for some hands-on time to explore how the model might work in their individual contexts, and discuss its pros and cons from a UCL perspective.
